The June 2025 visa bulletin brings significant progress for EB-2 applicants outside India, with nearly 4-month advancements in Final Action Dates. EB-3 categories see modest gains, while EB-1 remains unchanged. India’s EB-2 and EB-3 cutoffs hold steady, continuing the long wait for applicants. Family-sponsored categories show slight movement, with F-1 and F-3 advancing by 2–3 months. USCIS confirms the Final Action Dates chart will guide employment-based filings this month.
Supreme Court weighs limits on judges' power to block Trump policies
The Supreme Court is hearing a case today that could reshape how presidents use executive power. At stake is not just Trump’s push to restrict birthright citizenship, but whether federal judges can block such policies nationwide. The justices aren’t ruling on the citizenship issue directly yet they’re focused on whether lower courts went too far in stopping the policy across the whole country. If the court sides with Trump, future presidents may find it easier to roll out controversial policies, even while lawsuits are still ongoing.
Backlash grows over ICE enforcement tactics to remove illegal immigrants
